Weihermüller Pottery (1875-1897)
The Weihermüller pottery is founded by master potter Christian Weihermüller on the Mittlerer Markt in 1875. Christian Weihermüller not only knows how to produce the typical Thurnau tableware, but also how to make stove tiles and to set stoves, which brings the workshop great success. The workshop was closed down with his death at the age of 60 in 1897.
