Schnauder-Sanke Pottery (since 1997)
Franziska Schnauder-Sanke learns the pottery craft at her parents' business (Schnauder-ems pottery). In 1988, she passed the master craftsman's examination at the Keramikfachschule in Landshut and takes over her parents' pottery situated on Schlossweiher in 1997. The pottery is decorated using both the faience painting and slipware technique, often with the traditional Thurnau "Träubles" pattern.
