The Constitution of 1818 was the second constitution of the Kingdom of Bavaria and remained in vigour until the Revolution of 1918. It not only includes the actual text of the Constitution, but also ten associated edicts and two enclosures. In total, these texts formed the legal basis for the constitutional life of the Kingdom of Bavaria. The magnificent edition is bound in blue velvet and provided with a waxen seal in a seal capsule made of silver with white and blue ribbons and silver tassels.
